It has advice on what sort of exterior security lighting you can install, and even how you can use certain garden plants to help protect your home and property.

Fit burglar-resistant doors and windows!
If you are replacing or fitting new doors and windows, get ones that are certified to British Standards. These standards don't guarantee that a burglar won't get in, but they will deter and delay.

Look for BS7950 for windows, and BS:PAS 24-1 for doors. This indicates that the door, frame, locks and fittings have been tested and are attack resistant.
